Feature Requests

Instead of limits imposed in terms of no of files, size, and length; let's implement a new logic in which there is a total storage set as a limit similar to cloud services like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.

ability to restore deleted or expired recordings in the video storage

It would be great to be able to connect Restream Recordings to Google Drive, then have them automatically uploaded to a shared drive. That way our post-production team can get straight to editing.

ability to edit videos on the Restream website instead of needing to do so externally

When deleting a video from storage, warn the user that trimmed versions will also be deleted. It makes sense that the trimmed versions would be deleted too but a warning would help.

To be able to download the file in multiple formats on just one single click

It would be nice to be able to create folders within the Storage/Uploads section and place the uploaded videos in them. Also have the folder should have an indicate of how many videos are in that folder.

allow free plans to have access to recordings just like paid plans (15 days)

ability to download an XML file for editing in apps like Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere that would align all the individual video files. similar to the "Exporting Local Recordings as Project Files"

Some user uploads fail because the original video file has minor structural issues. Platforms like YouTube automatically re-encode uploads to fix these problems, which is why the same file works there but fails in Restream.
