Restream supports reconnects for up to ~60 seconds. If you’re streaming via an encoder and your internet connection drops, we’ll keep your event posts on YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn open and try to reconnect. If you’re back online within that window, your stream will continue seamlessly. Please note: in this case, the recording will be split into separate files.

If your encoder reconnects after the ~60-second window, a new stream will start — creating new event posts on your connected channels.
